Dita Jacobovitz’s paintings emerge from decades of close observation of the landscapes of northern Israel and northern Italy. Working in oil on canvas, she begins with familiar places, then transforms them through memory, perception, and time. Rather than depicting what is seen, she interprets what is experienced, where color becomes both structure and emotion. Developed over years of practice, her painterly language builds a quiet dialogue between place and lived experience.
